A general POA grants broad authority; a specific one is limited to a single task, which is usually safer. A POA for use ABROAD needs attestation on top of notarisation. Send a clear phone photo of each. Anything marked (if it applies) is only needed when it is true of you.

- Title deed, trade licence or Mulkiya (if it applies) — Whichever matches the type of POA you chose
- The exact powers to be granted — As specific as you can make it. A narrow POA is safer than a broad one
- Official Arabic translation — We arrange this through a certified legal translator
- Duration the POA should run for — An open-ended POA is rarely what somebody wants

Common questions
What is the difference between the types?
A general POA grants broad authority; a property, company or vehicle POA is limited to that one kind of task. The narrow ones are cheaper and, more importantly, safer - they cannot be used for anything else.
Does the person granting it have to attend?
Usually yes, at the notary. If you are outside the UAE there is a separate route involving your own country's notary and attestation; tell us where you are and we will set out what it takes.
Can I cancel it later?
Yes, a POA can be revoked, and it should be as soon as it is no longer needed. Ask us and we will explain what that takes.
How long should it run for?
As short as the job needs. An open-ended POA is rarely what somebody actually wants, which is why we ask you to state a duration.
